Over the weekend, my colleagues and I voted to pass four bills to aid our allies. These votes included H.R. 8034 - Israel Security Supplemental Appropriations Act, H.R. 8035 - Ukraine Security Supplemental Appropriations Act, H.R. 8036 - Indo-Pacific Security Supplemental Appropriations Act, and H.R. 8038 - 21st Century Peace through Strength Act.

The Israel Security Supplemental Appropriations Act provides $26.38 billion in support of Israel. This bill includes $4 billion to replenish Iron Dome and David's Sling missiles and $1.2 billion to develop the Iron Beam defense system. The Ukraine Security Supplemental Appropriations Act provides $60.8 billion to support Ukraine's defense against Russia. It includes $48.4 billion for our own Department of Defense. The bill bolsters oversight of U.S. dollars going to Ukraine with $26 million in funding, including to fund operations of the Special Inspector General for Operation Atlantic Resolve, which stood up in the FY24 NDAA due to Republican efforts. The non-lethal aid to Ukraine has been structured as a loan in accordance with the request from former President Trump. The Indo-Pacific Security Supplemental Appropriations Act provides $8.12 billion to counter Chinese aggression in the Indo-Pacific region. This bill strengthens U.S. military capabilities in the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command by providing $542 million for priorities left unfunded by the President's budget request.

I am pleased to support the government and the people of Israel, Ukraine, and even Taiwan as they bravely defend their nation and their freedom against aggression. In passing these bills, we are ensuring that our friends in these troubled areas will maintain their ability to continue fighting or preparing for territorial integrity and liberty.
